How Paris Invented the Art of Living
Most people come to Paris for the monuments. This walk is about something quieter, and far more Parisian — the art of living itself.
We spend an afternoon in a hidden, elegant slice of the city: royal gardens, nineteenth-century arcades and gilded rooms that thousands of visitors pass every day without ever stepping inside. It is a story about how power slowly turned into pleasure — how Paris became the place the world still associates with taste, beauty and the pleasure of doing nothing in particular, beautifully.
Nothing here is a museum visit. It is a way of reading the city — its façades, its arcades, its shop windows — so that when you walk Paris on your own the next day, you never quite see it the same way again.
